shooting butterflies...

..with a camera!
we ventured across the border into Canada yesterday to Point Pelee nature reserve to photo some butterflies 'cause the area is one of their stopping points on migration but alas, there weren't too many there but we had a good time and got lotsa good pics anyway -- here's a montage of a few:

Awww, I like the butterfly in the bottom right corner!

thanks -- we had a good day -- got back pretty late though -- and the border guard wanted to know what our relationship was...wtf?

You should have told them you're brother and sister then planted a big, sloppy, tounge kiss on her!

that would've been a hoot :)
but her passport says MI and mine says NJ and then there's the name difference -- but it coulda worked...and then my hand in her pants would've added to the drama, huh? -- 'course I didn't have any pants on at all, so that's probably what brought up the question -- do you think I have to be committed?

Those are nice, and may I add that your wife has a lovely smile! :)

Glad it was a good day for you!

Re: Very nicely done!

thanks very much -- but unfortunately, she's not my wife :( -- she's divorced but I'm still working on a divorce...so unless we move to southern Utah, we're gonna have to wait a while :(((((((

Re: Very nicely done!

thanks Jen... no problem -- we're like husband and wife anyway -- true love is so grand!!

Re: Very nicely done!

That it is! :)

All beautiful! Your girlfriend is beautiful too!

aww, thanks -- I've always thought so too (well, not always, but since I met her :)... but I'm sure she'd be happy to see that comment :) -- we all like pats on the head ... and assuming the 'peace face' is you, you're pretty good lookin' yourownself

Aww .. Ed this is gorgeous. Wendy looks lovely too.

thanks Col, she's m'baby -- took me all these years to find her but it was worth the wait -- just wish it coulda been sooner ...

and thanks for the compliment on the pics -- we had a good day

Just wanted you to know this was really inspiring for me yesterday and helped me stay motivated while doing a lot of crap I needed to get done. Thank you. *hugs*

aww...you're making me weepy -- glad the pics helped you through the day -- we all have a lot of 'crap' to get done and some days there just aren't enough hours -- and hugs back atcha, (hell, I don't even know yer name ... but hugs anyway -- hope today's a good one without too much crap ;)

oh, and btw that's a very nice icon -- did you do the art work?

It's Michelle, Ed... =) And thanks again. I was in part referring to the pics that I ended up taking Tuesday afternoon - click here.

And thank you, I did do the art work for that icon!

so am hoping to see more of your pics soon! What have you been up to this week?

..eh, nothing too creative -- lotta yard work -- tried drying some flowers but they just turned all brown and yucky -- started some more silver work but am kind of disappointed with what's happening -- working on a design for a new screen print but that'll take a lot more work -- there's a whole bunch of my stuff at the LJ pics and I think most of it (hell, maybe all of it) is "public" so go have a look :)

and speaking of "up to"...what have you been doing?
