lefemme a pierced/cut paper design -- if you don't care for the mat or background colors or the red on the frame, blame me, not her -- photoed without glass in the frame to avoid the glare problem, but glass will be installed as soon as the hardware store opens so I can buy the glasskind of a grey day here today, but if it rains, I won't have to water the growies -- not looking forward to the next water bill -- OTOH if it rains, I won't be able to sit outside and watch them grow...I do have the sense to come in when it rains...well, usually...
breakfast now, then off to the hardware store -- have a nice Monday (if there is such a thing; for me, all days are the same :)

It has such a peaceful, free feeling and I love the natural wood in the frame and the red really helps focus your (well, "my" really) eyes on the piece as a whole like those paintings of infinite hallways where you can't help but look to see how far it goes.

I always have trouble picking mat colors -- I keep about a dozen sheets on hand and seldom find just 'the right' color -- but holy shit, how many 30x40 sheets can ya store? -- yeah, I know they're flat and take up a lot less room than my other crap...
thanks also for the comment on the red -- that's a new dimension for me in framing, adding color, but I thought it'd work well here
